As a musician, I've been creative directing my own brand since, well, forever. It’s where I first started dabbling in experiential design. My first show posters were hand-cut, collaged, and copied at Kinko's (boy, do I wish I still had one or two of those). I directed and styled every detail, from how the shade of the vinyl I was releasing would coordinate with the album sleeve I designed. Alongside these creative efforts, I was signed to Universal Music Publishing Group, where I wrote songs for the likes of Art Garfunkel, Howie Day, Ryan Cabrera, Natasha Bedingfield, and more. After six years with Universal, it was time for a change of pace. I created the moniker “Young Mister” and have since released three full-length albums (Refresh Records/The Orchard) and one EP (BMG). I still like to rock out on weekends.
